MTN Uganda Strengthens Leadership Team with Three New Executive Appointments

MTN Uganda has appointed Thomas Motlepa, Peace Kabatangare Zulu, and Franklin Kano Ocharo to its Executive Committee to enhance leadership.

MTN Uganda has announced the appointment of three seasoned leaders to its Executive Committee, enhancing the company’s strategic vision and operational capabilities.

Thomas Motlepa joins as Chief Technology & Information Officer (CTIO) with over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, having held key leadership roles in MTN Ghana, Zambia, and Nigeria. His deep expertise in network optimization and digital transformation will drive innovation, elevating MTN Uganda’s connectivity services.

Peace Kabatangare Zulu, the new General Manager of Internal Audit and Forensics, brings 13 years of experience in audit, risk management, and governance. Her role will strengthen internal controls, fostering operational efficiency and accountability.

Franklin Kano Ocharo has been appointed General Manager of Growth and New Business. With an 18-year background in product management and business development, Franklin’s insights into emerging markets will help MTN Uganda expand its portfolio and meet the evolving needs of its customers.
