Safaricom and China Mobile International Discuss Strengthening Technology Partnerships

Safaricom's Michael Mutiga and CMI's Wang Hua discussed strengthening their partnership, focusing on innovative technology and enhancing customer experience through direct traffic exchange and collaborative advancements.

Safaricom PLC’s Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer Michael Mutiga held a meeting with the Chairman and CEO of China Mobile International Limited (CMI) Mr. Wang Hua.

The meeting was to discuss areas of mutual partnership to advance technological innovations aimed at improving customer experience.

We are currently partners with China Mobile International on Voice Onnet Exchange whereby we send all our China traffic via China Mobile International and CMI sends all China originated Safaricom traffic direct to Safaricom.

We remain committed to advancing partnerships that will add value to our customers.
