Multiple sources have confirmed that The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has introduced a draft regulatory framework targeting fraud, spam, and related issues in the Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging sector.

Reportedly, the initiative seeks to enhance consumer protection and streamline messaging services in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving telecom landscape.
