NATCOMS opposes NCC’s approved 50% tariff hike, citing consumer impact despite reforms balancing industry sustainability and network operators’ demands.

The National Association of Telecoms Subscribers (NATCOMS) has reportedly said that they will sue the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) over the recent 50% tariff hike in the telecommunications sector, TVC News Nigeria  has reported.

The adjustment, capped at a maximum of 50% of current tariffs, though lower than the over 100% requested by some network operators was arrived at taking into account ongoing industry reforms that will positively influence sustainability.
