Cisco expands Webex Calling and Contact Center in Sub-Saharan Africa with a new Cape Town media PoP, enhancing cloud collaboration.
Amey Parandekar, VP, Webex Calling Product Management, Cisco in a blog post announced that they have expanded the presence of Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center in the Sub-Saharan Africa region with the launch of a new media point of presence (PoP) in Cape Town, South Africa.
He mentioned that this is delivered in partnership with Amazon Web Services.
This launch underscores Cisco’s ongoing commitment to Sub-Saharan Africa – one of the fastest-growing and dynamic regions in the world – with cutting-edge cloud collaboration and customer experience tools.
