Mindware opens its East Africa HQ in Kenya, strengthening regional tech solutions, fostering partnerships, and expanding into Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.

As part of its strategic expansion, Mindware, a leading value-added distributor (VAD) in the Middle East and Africa, proudly announces the opening of its brand new office in Kenya, which will also serve as its East African headquarters. This milestone reinforces Mindware’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the MEA region and delivering world-class IT solutions to its growing network of partners and customers.

Spiros Rafailovits has been appointed as the Territory Manager for East Africa, leading a dedicated team of locally-based professionals to drive business growth and to deepen channel partnerships. Nicholas Argyrides, Regional Vice President, Gulf & East Africa at Mindware will oversee operations.

Located in Nairobi’s vibrant Westlands Business District, the new office offers strategic proximity to vendors, partners, and key stakeholders. Mindware’s presence in Kenya will enable faster response times, enhanced local support, and stronger engagement with the East African partner ecosystem.

Mindware’s expansion into Kenya is a strategic move driven by the country’s rapid economic growth and its position as a leading technology hub in Africa. With a thriving digital economy and increasing demand for IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and AI, our aim is to provide localized support to our channel partners. Through concrete global vendor partnerships and by investing in technical training, financial support, and market awareness initiatives, we are committed to accelerating digital transformation in Kenya and beyond. Our mid-term vision is to establish Kenya as our East African hub while expanding into Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.

In the coming weeks, Mindware will be hosting an official inauguration event, bringing together key stakeholders, industry leaders, technology vendors, and regional partners. The Mindware East Africa launch event will serve as an opportunity to share the company’s vision for the region, strengthen collaborations, and explore new growth opportunities.

Mindware has multiple, long-standing partnerships with global technology vendors, including Dell Technologies, Oracle, Microsoft, RSA, and Broadcom, delivering best-in-class solutions in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. Through such strategic alliances, Mindware is poised to bring advanced technology solutions to businesses across Kenya and East Africa.

We are thrilled to establish our first office in Kenya, a key step in our East African expansion. Kenya’s dynamic tech landscape and strong economy make it the perfect hub for Mindware to grow and strengthen partnerships. We are committed to empowering businesses across Kenya and the region with cutting-edge technology.

– Spiros Rafailovits, Territory Manager, East Africa, Mindware
