Minister Solly Malatsi urged cross-sector partnerships at SATA45, emphasizing governments alone cannot meet the infrastructure demands of universal digital connectivity.

Solly Malatsi , Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies of South Africa, delivered the keynote address at the 45th Annual Conference of the Southern African Telecommunication Association (#SATA45).

This conference has brought together telecoms leaders from across the SADC region.

In his address, the Minister stressed that the scale of infrastructure investment required to achieve universal connectivity cannot be shouldered by governments alone.

He underscored the importance of coordinated partnerships across public and private sectors, noting that forums like SATA45 are vital in fostering collaboration.
