In a significant move to bolster Tanzania’s digital economy, Yas and Mixx by Yas have formalised a partnership with the East Africa Commercial Logistics Centre (EACLC ), setting the stage for transformative progress in the country’s business infrastructure.
The official signing ceremony brought together Yas CEO Pierre Canton-Bacara and Mixx by Yas CEO Angelica Pesha, both of whom reaffirmed their joint commitment to fostering inclusive growth through technology. The collaboration aims to support over 2,000 Tanzanian businesses by expanding access to high-speed internet and simplifying mobile financial services.
Pierre Canton-Bacara emphasised Yas’s focus on deploying reliable, high-speed connectivity solutions across the EACLC’s network to empower enterprises with digital capacity. Angelica Pesha added that Mixx’s mobile platform is designed to make everyday financial services—such as payments, credit, insurance, and income management—more accessible for individuals and businesses alike.
