The newly implemented digital solution is set to revolutionize the judicial system by securely connecting the state’s courts, thereby reducing potential abuses and enabling citizens to access more efficient, accessible, and modern justice services. This technology transfer is a key step towards enhancing transparency and speed within the legal framework.
Ethio Telecom expressed profound gratitude for the trust placed in them and affirmed its commitment to ensuring the project’s continued success as it expands to districts and other regional areas. The company extended its thanks to the president of the Amhara State Supreme Court, senior management, experts, and its own staff who were instrumental in the project’s completion.
This “Smart Court” initiative is a direct contribution by Ethio Telecom towards realizing the broader vision of “Digital Ethiopia,” aiming to modernize various institutions with digital technology for the ultimate benefit of citizens. The project officially began with an agreement signed between Ethio Telecom and the Amhara State Supreme Court in January 2017.
