MTN Sudan Expands Digital Empowerment Drive with ‘Al-Manssa’

MTN Sudan has launched a new training initiative, “Al-Manssa” (The Platform), designed to support and empower Sudanese content creators through specialized workshops in digital media and online marketing. The program seeks to enhance participants’ skills and align them with the country’s accelerating digital transformation.
Speaking on the initiative, Noon Al-Rashid, Senior Manager for Corporate Communications and Social Impact, expressed her delight, noting that the platform was developed out of an urgent need to support local creators, especially in the current climate. She emphasized that young people and digital transformation remain core priorities for MTN, adding that leveraging technology in daily life is key to enabling Sudanese talent.
Hatem Babiker, General Manager of Digital Services, highlighted that the platform provides a learning space where technology and creativity meet, offering expert-led workshops that help creators reflect Sudanese identity in innovative ways, while also creating new income opportunities and overcoming technical challenges.
Participants in the first edition were carefully selected to ensure diverse representation across the content creation spectrum. The program also includes influencers and professionals from local media institutions to enhance the interactive learning experience.
