The move positions the company as a key player in advancing a sovereign, carrier-neutral digital foundation for Tanzania.
STELLARIX has announced that it became a member of the Tanzania Internet Service Provider Association (TISPA) on September 19, 2025, marking a significant step in strengthening the country’s digital ecosystem. The move positions the company as a key player in advancing a sovereign, carrier-neutral digital foundation for Tanzania.
By joining TISPA, STELLARIX is also partnering with the Tanzania Internet Exchange (TIX) community to promote an open, neutral, and high-performance interconnection environment. The collaboration aims to enhance connectivity, delivering faster, more secure, and more affordable internet access across the nation.
The company emphasized that carrier-neutral data centers are the cornerstone of a thriving digital economy. By supporting neutral peering hubs such as TIX, STELLARIX is working to improve efficiency, resilience, and affordability for enterprises, government institutions, and citizens.
In addition, the initiative underscores Tanzania’s growing role as a regional digital gateway. According to the company, bolstering digital sovereignty and expanding interconnection infrastructure will enable broader growth, innovation, and inclusion across the economy.
STELLARIX invited stakeholders to explore opportunities in peering, cross-connect activation, and capacity roadmaps, reinforcing its commitment to shaping the future of Tanzania’s digital economy in collaboration with TISPA and TIX.
