Yapı Kredi and Mastercard Usher in a New Era of Digital Payments in Turkey

Yapı Kredi,  which stands out with its pioneering applications in digital banking, has taken the mobile payment experience one step further with Mastercard’s  digital payment solution, Masterpass. Currently, Yapı Kredi customers can make payments with their Yapı Kredi cards, accounts, and Shopping Credit through World Pay. With the innovation offered through the Mastercard partnership, they will also be able to use all other bank cards registered with Masterpass. Thus, Yapı Kredi customers can link their Masterpass accounts to World Pay, where digital payment services converge, and view not only their Yapı Kredi cards but also other registered bank cards, enabling them to make payments with TR QR codes at all bank POS terminals.

Thanks to this pioneering collaboration, Yapı Kredi customers will be able to complete their transactions in accordance with Yapı Kredi security standards using the card of their choice from any bank, even if the card they wish to use is not with them, thanks to the World Pay and Masterpass infrastructure.
