Orange Corners Innovation Fund Expands Footprint Across Africa and the Middle East

September 26, 2025
2 min read

The initiative is designed to support young Tunisian entrepreneurs through a combination of funding, training, business development services, and access to vital networks, strengthening the country’s innovation ecosystem.

The Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF)  has officially launched in Tunisia, marking the program’s expansion into its 20th country. The initiative is designed to support young Tunisian entrepreneurs through a combination of funding, training, business development services, and access to vital networks, strengthening the country’s innovation ecosystem.

The launch event featured the first cohort of 10 OCIF Tunisia winners, who pitched their business ideas with confidence and professionalism. Their strong presentations reflected the high level of preparation provided by local partner Lab’ess, which hosted the event and played a key role in equipping the entrepreneurs with the skills needed to present their ventures effectively.

Beyond financing, OCIF’s presence in Tunisia is set to empower local innovators over the next five years, offering sustained guidance and opportunities to scale their ideas. The program underscores a broader commitment to nurturing youth entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development and job creation in the country.

The milestone was further highlighted by the participation of H.E. Josephine Frantzen, the Netherlands’ Ambassador to Tunisia, who hosted a celebratory gathering to mark the fund’s entry into Tunisia. The event reaffirmed the collaborative spirit between OCIF, Lab’ess, and international partners in supporting the next generation of Tunisian innovators.
