Morocco Launches “WE-Elevate” Program to Empower Women and Youth Entrepreneurs
This new initiative was developed in collaboration with the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).
During the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform officially announced the national launch of the “WE-Elevate” program. This new initiative was developed in collaboration with the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).
The “WE-Elevate” program is specifically designed to empower small, small, and medium enterprises led by women and youth. The program’s core goal is to support the capabilities of these entrepreneurs through comprehensive digital resources. These resources include e-learning modules, dedicated mentoring and mentorship services, and privileged access to various essential business platforms.
Mrs. Amal EL FALLAH – SEGHROUCHNI, the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Digital Transition and Administration Reform, championed the initiative during the announcement. She emphasized Morocco’s firm commitment to becoming a primary digital innovation hub in Africa. The Minister stated that through the program, women and young entrepreneurs will be able to digitize their businesses, develop their scale, and compete globally.
Mrs. EL FALLAH – SEGHROUCHNI also highlighted the importance of the DCO’s role. The organization is crucial in linking Morocco’s national ambitions with international partnerships, effectively transforming national initiatives into regional and international opportunities. This strategic linkage is designed to serve the broader goal of inclusive and sustainable growth across the region.
