PwC Establishes Digital Resilience Center in Casablanca to Enhance Cyber Defense and Digital Trust

October 15, 2025
3 min read

The new center is designed to help businesses enhance their cybersecurity posture, ensure operational continuity, and combat emerging threats such as financial crime and digital fraud.

PwC Morocco  has officially launched its Digital Resilience Center (DRC) in Casablanca, marking a major milestone as the firm’s first facility of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The new center is designed to help businesses enhance their cybersecurity posture, ensure operational continuity, and combat emerging threats such as financial crime and digital fraud.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour, and senior PwC executives. The launch comes at a time when organizations around the world are grappling with growing cyber risks, data protection challenges, and the rapid integration of artificial intelligence into their operations.

The Casablanca DRC provides 24/7 managed cybersecurity and risk management services for both Moroccan and international clients. Its integrated framework covers all aspects of digital resilience, from cybersecurity and cloud security to financial crime prevention, digital forensics, and compliance management. The center combines global best practices with local expertise to offer tailored, scalable solutions to clients across various industries.

Built on four key pillars — Managed Cyber, Managed Cyber Defense, Digital Identity, and Cloud Security — the DRC’s modular design allows businesses to adopt customized protection strategies aligned with their level of digital maturity. The facility is equipped to help organizations identify vulnerabilities, defend against sophisticated cyberattacks, and maintain operational stability in an increasingly volatile digital landscape.

Beyond its immediate cybersecurity mission, the DRC plays a vital role in advancing Morocco’s digital sovereignty and innovation goals. It aligns closely with the “Morocco 2030” Digital Strategy, which prioritizes national cybersecurity development, local talent training, and the enhancement of digital infrastructure across both the public and private sectors. The center aims to contribute directly to national efforts to train over 100,000 specialists in digital and cybersecurity fields by 2030.

The Casablanca hub also positions Morocco as a strategic digital gateway for Africa. Acting as a regional center of excellence, it will foster collaboration across African markets, facilitate the exchange of cybersecurity expertise, and promote innovation in risk management and data protection.

The new facility integrates seamlessly into PwC’s global network of resilience centers, which operate continuously through a “follow-the-sun” model. This structure ensures around-the-clock monitoring, global coordination, and immediate incident response for clients worldwide.

PwC’s Digital Resilience Center in Casablanca not only reinforces the firm’s leadership in cybersecurity and digital transformation but also contributes to the growth of Morocco’s digital economy. By building local capabilities, supporting innovation, and providing a secure foundation for transformation, PwC is helping position Morocco as a regional hub for trusted, technology-driven business resilience.
