MSTelcom and Eutelsat Partner to Expand OneWeb LEO Connectivity Across Angola
The partnership aims to provide secure, resilient, high-performance communications to key sectors, including oil and gas, maritime operations, and fixed terrestrial sites.
MSTelcom has entered a new distribution agreement with Eutelsat to deliver OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) connectivity services throughout Angola. The partnership aims to provide secure, resilient, high-performance communications to key sectors, including oil and gas, maritime operations, and fixed terrestrial sites.
Eutelsat, which has an established presence in Angola, serves as the licensed operator for LEO services in the country. With existing infrastructure such as a ground station and a local Point of Presence (PoP), the company is positioned to support high-speed, low-latency connectivity in Angola and across Central Africa.
The agreement extends the reach of LEO services in the market and reinforces ongoing efforts to advance Angola’s digital development. It also supports national goals to expand connectivity into remote areas and strengthen communication capabilities across the country.
The initiative marks a significant step toward enhancing Angola’s digital infrastructure and enabling improved connectivity for strategic industries.
