November 19, 2025
2 min read

In her new position, Stoddard will spearhead Intel’s next phase of transformation—modernizing core systems, expanding enterprise data integration, and enabling more secure and efficient decision-making across the organization.

Intel Corporation  has named Cindy Stoddard as its new senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO), effective December 1, marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing modernization and digital transformation efforts. She will report directly to CEO Lip-Bu Tan and oversee Intel’s global IT organization.

The CIO position continues to grow in strategic importance as Intel focuses on upgrading legacy systems, strengthening operational resilience, and deepening collaboration with AI platform providers. Stoddard is expected to play a central role in shaping Intel’s next generation of enterprise technology capabilities.

With more than 25 years of experience, Stoddard joins Intel after nearly a decade at Adobe, where she led global IT and cloud operations. During her tenure, she oversaw Adobe’s large-scale cloud migration and enterprise data modernization, contributing significantly to the company’s digital transformation. Her earlier leadership roles at NetApp, Safeway, APL, and Consolidated Freightways further strengthened her expertise in logistics, operations and building high-performing technology teams.

In her new position, Stoddard will spearhead Intel’s next phase of transformation—modernizing core systems, expanding enterprise data integration, and enabling more secure and efficient decision-making across the organization. She will also guide the company’s internal AI-driven IT initiatives as Intel pushes to reinforce its leadership in artificial intelligence.

Stoddard’s appointment reinforces Intel’s focus on strengthening its technology infrastructure and operational excellence as the company continues its broader transformation under Lip-Bu Tan’s leadership.
