Ivory Coast Strengthens Digital Ties with Russia’s Skolkovo Foundation
Key topics included the creation of technopolies, artificial intelligence, and the digitization of both public and private services.
The Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitalization of Côte d’Ivoire hosted a high-level hearing with a delegation from Russia’s Skolkovo Foundation, led by the Russian Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, H.E. Alexey Saltykov. The meeting was received by Chief Cabinet Raymond Assoua on behalf of Minister Kalil Konaté.
The discussions are part of a bilateral exchange program aimed at boosting cooperation in digital technology, innovation, and the development of future technological ecosystems. Key topics included the creation of technopolies, artificial intelligence, and the digitization of both public and private services.
Promising areas of collaboration were identified between the Skolkovo Foundation and VITIB, the Ivorian technology park. VITIB’s Director General presented the park’s activities and infrastructure to the delegation.
As part of ongoing technical exchanges, the delegation is scheduled to visit VITIB on 25 November 2025 to explore partnership opportunities further.
