The PoC introduces palm and facial recognition-based payment solutions, allowing secure, seamless in-person transactions without the need for cards or mobile devices.

Network International  has become the first fintech in the UAE to conduct a biometric payments Proof-of-Concept (PoC), in collaboration with the Central Bank of the UAE through its EIF Innovation Hub. The initiative was officially launched by H.E. Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor for Banking Operations and Support Services at CBUAE and Vice Chairman of EIF.

The PoC introduces palm and facial recognition-based payment solutions, allowing secure, seamless in-person transactions without the need for cards or mobile devices. This development aligns with the UAE’s Digital Economy Agenda, highlighting how biometric payments can enable frictionless, future-ready transactions and advance the adoption of next-generation financial technologies in the region.
