SMEDAN and MoMo PSB Collaboration Brings Digital Tools and Capacity Building to SMEs
The milestone was marked with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the MoMo PSB Head Office in Victoria Island, Lagos, following several months of discussions.
MoMo PSB has officially partnered with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to support the growth and digital transformation of Nigeria’s small and medium-scale businesses. The milestone was marked with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the MoMo PSB Head Office in Victoria Island, Lagos, following several months of discussions.
The signing brought together Charles Odii, Director General and CEO of SMEDAN, and his team, with MoMo PSB’s Executive Director of Strategy and Innovation, Usoro Anthony Usoro, to formalize the collaboration. The partnership aims to equip registered SMEs within the SMEDAN ecosystem with MoMo’s suite of digital solutions, spanning App, POS, USSD, partner portals, and other tailored platforms.
Through these tools, business owners will be able to accept payments efficiently, manage staff salaries, oversee tills and multiple shop operations, and track key business activities from a single integrated platform. The collaboration also includes capacity-building programs designed to strengthen operations and support sustainable business growth.
Beyond operational efficiency, the partnership provides SMEs with access to new revenue opportunities through the broader MoMo x MTN ecosystem. The initiative underscores the shared commitment of MoMo PSB and SMEDAN to provide entrepreneurs with practical, accessible solutions that reduce operational challenges, improve cash flow, and enable business owners to focus on growing and scaling their businesses.
