Mauritania Launches “Ijraati” Platform to Simplify 800+ Administrative Procedures
The Ijraati platform is a comprehensive digital portal designed to enhance transparency and bring administrative services closer to citizens, investors, and businesses.
On February 16, 2026, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization (MTNIMA) officially launched the national administrative procedures platform, “Ijraati”. The launch was led by Minister Ahmed Salem Ould Bede, alongside Minister Mokhtar El Housseinou Lam, Secretary General of the Government, and Minister Marième Mint Boidel Houmeid, Minister of Public Service and Labor.
The Ijraati platform is a comprehensive digital portal designed to enhance transparency and bring administrative services closer to citizens, investors, and businesses. It consolidates over 800 administrative procedures, providing detailed information on required documents, processing timelines, and responsible authorities.
In addition to serving users, the platform offers a dashboard for public administrations and provides statistical data to ensure continuous updates and efficient management. This initiative is a major step toward the full digitalization of public services, with all procedures planned to be available through the “Khidmaty” portal, enabling easier access and streamlined government interactions.
By centralizing administrative procedures online, Ijraati aims to simplify bureaucracy, promote accountability, and support the government’s broader digital transformation agenda in Mauritania.
