The Ghana launch builds on Craydel's rapid continental expansion across Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Burundi and Tanzania, reinforcing its ambition to become Africa's leading digital gateway to international education.

Craydel,  Africa’s AI-powered study abroad platform, today announced its official expansion into Ghana, marking its eighth market in Africa as the company accelerates its mission to help more students access global higher education opportunities through technology.

The Ghana launch builds on Craydel’s rapid continental expansion across Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Burundi and Tanzania, reinforcing its ambition to become Africa’s leading digital gateway to international education.

Ghana represents one of West Africa’s fastest-growing markets for international education, with increasing demand from students seeking undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities abroad. Through its AI-powered university matching platform, Craydel enables students to discover, compare and apply to universities that best match their academic qualifications, career ambitions and financial circumstances.

The expansion will also see Craydel establish local student advisory services and strengthen partnerships with high schools, universities and education stakeholders across Ghana, bringing personalised guidance closer to aspiring students.

“Ghana has one of Africa’s strongest traditions of investing in education and global talent. We have seen tremendous demand from Ghanaian students looking for trusted, technology-driven guidance as they explore study opportunities abroad. Our vision has always been to build Africa’s education infrastructure, not simply another recruitment agency. Every new country we enter strengthens a continent-wide platform where students can make informed decisions based on data, not guesswork. Ghana is another important milestone in that journey.”

Manish Sardana, Co-founder and CEO, Craydel

Founded in 2021, Craydel combines artificial intelligence with human advisory services to simplify what has traditionally been a fragmented and opaque university application process. Students receive personalised university recommendations, eligibility assessments and application support while universities gain access to qualified students across Africa through a single digital platform.

The company now partners with hundreds of universities across more than 50 study destinations worldwide, helping African learners access international education opportunities while improving transparency throughout the admissions journey.

The Ghana expansion forms part of Craydel’s broader strategy to deepen its presence across Africa as demand for international education continues to rise. According to industry estimates, more than 400,000 African students study abroad each year, creating significant demand for trusted digital education platforms.

“Africa is home to the world’s youngest population, yet too many students still struggle to access reliable information about higher education opportunities. By expanding into Ghana, we’re investing in a future where every African student, regardless of where they live, can confidently discover the universities and careers that fit their aspirations.”

Manish Sardana, Co-founder and CEO, Craydel

Craydel plans to continue expanding across strategic African markets while growing its global network of university partners and enhancing its AI-powered student guidance platform.
