CAMTEL to Sign Connectivity Agreements with MINESEC and SIC on Wednesday
According to CAMTEL, the two partnerships are meant to strengthen digital inclusion in both the education and housing sectors.
Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL) has announced that it will hold two framework agreement signing ceremonies on Wednesday, 7 October 2026. The agreements are aimed at improving connectivity in schools and housing estates. The announcement was made in a press release dated 5 October 2026, published in both French and English.
The first agreement will be signed with the Ministry of Secondary Education (MINESEC) and will focus on cooperation in connectivity and digital services for secondary schools. The ceremony will take place at MINESEC’s Distance Learning Centre in Yaoundé.
The second agreement will be signed with Société Immobilière du Cameroun (SIC) at CAMTEL’s head office. It will cover the enhancement of connectivity in housing estates and its integration into future real estate development programmes.
