Egyptian e-commerce technology startup Turuq Innovations  has raised seed funding from venture capital firm Den VC  to accelerate the development of its platform and expand its services to more brands.

The company provides a technology-powered platform that integrates e-commerce fulfilment, logistics and operations, enabling brands to manage their order fulfilment processes while focusing on sales and business growth.

Turuq said the funding would support faster development of its platform and help it serve more brands. The company did not disclose the amount raised or provide details on the specific allocation of the funds.

The startup also acknowledged support from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and Flat6Labs through the Invest-IT programme, which helped prepare the company to engage with investors.

Turuq said the funding marked a new stage in its growth as it continues to develop its services for merchants and e-commerce businesses.
