With this 4G Expresso, the experience will be even better in terms of connection, speed and reliability.

With this new step, the company is getting back in competition with other operators such as Sonatel which launched its 4G network in 2018 and Free which took the step last year.
Expresso also plans to upgrade its 3G network and has entrusted this project to China’s Huawei. The operator promises a “3G network twice as efficient with a faster Internet connection and offers access to all consumers.” The company said the project will correct the disruptions and other slow speed issues recorded previously in certain areas of the country.
The telecom company’s 2G network will also be improved during the year. According to Fatou Sow Kane, the 2G network, which used to cover 87% of the population, is expected to increase to 90% by 2020. As for 3G, coverage rate will reach 70%, from 45% currently.
