Etisalcom and Atyaf to launch premium entertainment package in Bahrain

Bahrain-based telecommunications company Etisalcom has reached an agreement with Atyaf Home Entertainmentto launch its premium services in the kingdom.

As per the deal, Etisalcom will be offering a range of premium services to the people that are at home owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first of these services is a package of entertainment programme specifically selected for the Bahraini market, it stated. As countries around the world implement measures to safeguard the their people and communities from being impacted by the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, and as Bahrain takes herculean efforts to protect its citizens from this disease, we at Etisalcom and Atyaf Home Entertainment want to do our part,” remarked its CEO Rashid Al Sinan. 

“We realize that staying at home is the main task that can dent the growth of infection within a community.  It is because of that we wanted to present the people of Bahrain a range of premium services at a very affordable price that will help them entertain themselves whether in self isolation or by just staying at home,” he added.

Lauding the deal, Chairman of Bahrain Society for Technology Companies Ubaydli Al  Ubaydli, said: “We see this step as part of the efforts implemented by the National Committee against the spread of Corona Virus within the Bahraini community.” 

“We want the Information Technology companies to work creatively in all circumstances, no matter what the harshness of those conditions are and the difficulties they face, we need them to show the spirit of the people and their creativity,” he stated. Al Ubaydli pointed out that such co-operation showcaes the behavior of the Bahraini private sector, particularly in the field of positive information and communications technology. Both in terms of the urgent desire to cooperate between Bahraini companies, or on the level of productive work in the most severe and harsh conditions.
