The Syrian drama is inspired by true events that took place in Syria in the sixties and the recent years, weaving modern and old societal stories and lives together. This first and exclusive run of Share’a Chicago (AKA Chicago street) will be available to watch on OSN Yahala Al Oula and OSN’s streaming app.

One thing that makes this series so special is an ensemble of the biggest stars in the history of Syrian and Arabic cinema, including the ‘Shahrazad’ of the Arab Screen – award-winning actress Syrian actress Sulaf Fawakherji, in addition to Abbas Al Nouri from “Bab El Hara”. Last but not least, Share’a Chicago also sees Mehyar Khaddour play a lead role, along with the return of Syrian acting legend and celebrated pillar of Arab and Syrian drama, Duraid Lahham to the screen – known as “Ghawwar El Toushi” in a number of movies and series.

The powerful series tackles secrets and struggles of two eras within the Syrian and Egyptian societies. It all starts when a young investigator on the verge of death, accidentally opens a door to the past and reveals the chaos and unsettling secrets. It also details a struggle between family bonds and love and what its lead characters are willing to do for the sake of love and hope of a different life. The 30-episode series promises to captivate audiences with a love story filled with struggle and driven by the power of hope.

Viewers can tune in to watch OSN content through OSN Home packages or on OSN’s streaming app. New subscribers can enjoy a free trial of the service for seven days, which is available on osn.com, IOS and Android mobile apps, Apple TV, Android TV and Samsung and LG TVs.
