At the forefront of digital educational technology since its launch in 2018, Ooredoo’s Digital Tutorial App has received more than 48 million views since November 2020, the start of the academic year to date. Around 14 thousand users per day used the app during peak times, with an average view time at around 21 minutes per student per day. Over 808,000 students accessed some of the amazing learning materials available. And the number of registered students since the beginning of the year currently stands at 188,277. Through this innovative educational app, Ooredoo continues to enhance education in the Sultanate and empower the new generation throughout their academic journey.

“The Digital Tutorial App has been very popular, especially during the last year where most have been studying remotely. So we’ve been extremely active, updating it continuously and adding new lessons and features. Now, more students than ever, among all age groups, can continue their studies in a unique and fun way.”

Raed Mohammed Dawood, Director of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs, Ooredoo

This digital initiative comes under the umbrella of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Ooredoo Goodwill, and includes different training courses on web design, HTML and programming, English and IELTS tests, literacy curricula, as well as specialised topics from grade one all the way up to grade twelve. It also includes a number of courses and lessons on Java, information security, cloud computing, and IC3 global accreditation. Users can even learn about the Fourth Industrial Revolution and self-development; courses that are designed for trainers, teachers, and psychologists from the Sultanate and the wider Middle East.

Ooredoo will also be updating the app with lessons tailored for university students and job seekers, including certificates and courses from some of the most prestigious international universities.

Users can download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play by searching for Oman Digital Tutorial.
