Saudi Arabia’s leading digital enabler stc, recently participated in Capacity Europe 2021 through wholesale business unit. The event is one of Europe’s largest telecoms networking conferences. The team met with global partners in the ICT industry to discuss possible future collaboration ventures and further explore international expansion.
New strategic business opportunities were discussed with global and regional peers and industry players including the growth of international capacities, hosting PoPs (Point of Presence), and building the Internet of Things (IoT) community as an enabler of global IoT connectivity in the MENA region.
stc further had high-level discussions around operating a long-distance fiber network in Africa, backhaul operations in Europe, further exploration of submarine cable systems, diversified fiber links, and opportunities to extend hosting and access across the GCC.

The Capacity Europe conference provided stc with an opportunity to network with other global players in the ICT sector. stc held some extremely promising conversations with its partners about future collaborations which will enhance its offerings, enables it to meet next-generation connectivity, and maximize capacity for ever-increasing data demands both locally, regionally, and internationally.
stc was the official Diamond Sponsor at the Capacity Europe conference, which took place in London. It saw over 1,400 delegates from 60 countries attend in person and a further 2,400 via a virtual networking platform. The event brought together international senior telecoms and digital key players as well as the wider ICT infrastructure community to enhance cooperation and discuss emerging ecosystem dynamics and the latest global trends in the ICT connectivity community.
