In a recent announcement, Altaeros, the developers of the first autonomous aerostats in the world have disclosed a partnership with World Mobile Group, which is the first mobile network built on blockchain.

Altaeros’ partnership with World mobile is aimed at deploying SuperTowers in Africa in the coming year. This is expected to accelerate World Mobile’s plans to launch Altearos’ SuperTowers across Africa to help connect millions of people.

“We’re on a journey to bring modern infrastructure to billions of un-served and under-served people around the world. We’re driven by a belief that business and technical innovation are the keys to creating a positive, scalable impact. World Mobile is the perfect partner to work with to deliver our vision as they strive to connect the unconnected, everywhere.”

Ben Glass, CEO/CTO, Altaeros
