Bakcell Reports an Investment of AZN 226 Million Over the Last 3 Years

In a recent announcement, Bakcell, an Azerbaijani operator has disclosed that it has invested AZN 226 million towards the country’s economy in the past three years. A major part of this investment however went towards the development of its telecom infrastructure which includes the expansion of its LTE network.

Reportedly, Bakcell currently owns more than 8,700 base stations as its existing network covers 92.4 percent of its country’s area and 99.9 percent of its population.
