INT Rejects Tunisie Telecom’s Plan to Raise Fixed Line Rental

Tunisie Telecom’s plan to increase its fixed line rental has been rejected by the INT, the Tunisian telecom authority.

INT, the telecom authority of Tunisia has addressed a formal request received by them on the behalf of Tunisie Telecom to increase the fixed line rental billing for the residential customers. This would have TND 3 to the existing TND 6.043 monthly charge.

The INT found the price rise plan in breach of the regulation that is protecting the wholesale market for xDSL services.
