Econet in Partnership with Ericsson and ZTE to Launch 5G Network in Zimbabwe

Reportedly, Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has announced the launch of its 5G Network in Harare with the help of Ericsson and ZTE. Furthermore, Econet is expected to set up more stations in Zimbabwe in the next two weeks with a target of deploying 22 stations nationwide.

“The coming of 5G technologies will open up many possibilities in the digital development of the country. Econet has invested over USD 3 billion in infrastructure since its inception and plans to deploy 5G in the rest of the nation during the course of the year.”
