stc to Continue its Support of the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix

stc Group, the leading digital enabler in the region, has announced that it will provide the 2023 edition of the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix with digital infrastructure, for the third year in a row.

This partnership comes in line with the group’s commitment to enriching people’s lives by providing world-class technologies and supporting major entertainment and sporting events held in the Kingdom, which is evident through its support for this unique event, which enjoys great follow-up in the world.

Based on the success achieved by the group during the 2022 edition, this year it will expand its modern digital service, providing the best 5G networks in terms of speed, data capacity and coverage of up to 100%, as well as high-speed communication services for contestants and attendees alike, while supporting Seamless exchange of data between competitors and engineering teams at exceptionally high speed.

The group provides modern technologies for the stc Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix, which is being hosted in Jeddah for the third year in a row from March 17 to 19, 2023. It should be noted that the stc network and its updated technologies enable sensors and components on board Formula 1 cars to transmit data between each other. Through the embedded networks, this data can also be encrypted and transmitted to the teams over an air frequency.

In celebration of the 2023 edition of the Grand Prix, stc will release a Saudi version of the Formula 1 Grand Prix music using local musical instruments and a Saudi orchestra. It is performed by a group of Saudi local talents, which contributes to enhancing feelings of national pride, and achieving benefit from the momentum enjoyed by this global event to introduce Saudi culture
