Telecom Namibia Persists with its Network Modernisation Drive

Telecom Namibia has been investing in infrastructure development as part of its network modernisation drive over the past year. This has involved expanding and enhancing its networks in order to provide customers with a better mobile service and experience.

To achieve this, Telecom Namibia has been reviewing its network architecture with the aim of optimising performance and mitigating against network strain. As more and more customers continue to use their services, Telecom Namibia recognises the importance of ensuring that its network can consistently deliver high-quality mobile services.

Under the TN Mobile brand, Telecom Namibia has extended its 3G and 4G connectivity to both urban and rural areas across the country. This has involved upgrading 25 mobile sites in various parts of the country. By expanding its network reach, Telecom Namibia is aiming to enhance speeds, capacity, quality, reliability, reach and, ultimately, customer experience.

The expansion and densification of Telecom Namibia’s network are strategic initiatives aimed at providing customers with a better service. By improving network performance, the company hopes to ensure that customers can enjoy reliable, high-quality mobile services regardless of their location. This is an important step towards meeting the growing demand for mobile services in Namibia and ensuring that Telecom Namibia remains competitive in the market.

On network enhancement, we are reviewing the network architecture to better optimise on its performance and mitigate against network strain, as more and more customers continue to use our services. Our network optimisation efforts will result in Telecom Namibia consistently delivering a quality mobile service and experience.
