Cell C’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Lerato Pule, has submitted her resignation to pursue a new opportunity, the company has confirmed. While transitioning, Pule will continue overseeing crucial financial matters in the coming months.

Pule’s tenure has been marked by significant achievements, including her instrumental role in finalizing the recapitalization process and managing the historic audits spanning 2018 to 2020, which have now been concluded and signed off. The final stages of the 2021 and 2022 audits are also in progress, aiming to ensure the timely release of comprehensive annual financial statements for those years.

Beyond financial reporting, Pule has demonstrated strong leadership in nurturing a robust finance team and elevating the finance function to encompass analytical capabilities.

Cell C’s Board acknowledges Pule’s valuable contributions during her tenure and expresses sincere appreciation for her efforts.

As part of its forward plans, Cell C will commence the search for a suitable candidate to succeed Lerato Pule as CFO.
