Ooredoo and Trend Micro Join Forces to Provide Top-Tier Cyber Security Solutions for Businesses

Ooredoo and Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in cyber security, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer top-tier security solutions to Ooredoo Business customers. The partnership will enable Ooredoo to leverage Trend Micro’s expertise and experience in cyber security to further upgrade its customer services and transform how it protects and secures device with an internet or network connection. Through flexible pricing models, Ooredoo Business customers can opt for the cyber security services as bundled add-ons to other services or as standalone offerings.

Based on decades of security expertise, global threat research, and continuous innovation, Trend Micro’s cyber security platform protects hundreds of thousands of organisations and millions of individuals across clouds, networks, devices, and endpoints. According to the company’s recent cyber security report, its solutions successfully identified and blocked over six million cyber security threats in Oman during the first half of this year alone. The MoU between Ooredoo and Trend Micro was signed at GITEX GLOBAL, a large Tech and Startup Show in Dubai. On top of the collaboration in the area of services, both companies have also outlined plans to initiate cybersecurity awareness campaigns, which will further cement their position as industry leaders.
