The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has extended the submission deadline for written representations and responses regarding Cell C Limited’s license transfer applications. The revised timeframes are as follows:

• Submission Deadline for Interested Parties: January 22, 2024
• Applicants’ Response Deadline: February 12, 2024

This extension allows stakeholders more time to contribute their perspectives on the proposed transfer of control for Individual Electronic Communications Network Service, Individual Electronic Communications Service, and Radio Frequency Spectrum licenses from Cell C Limited to The Prepaid Company (Pty) Limited.
