In a statement on January 19th, 2024, Airtel Networks Zambia Plc announced the successful restoration of all service applications previously affected by a system failure. This is the second instance of a service disruption from Airtel Zambia since December.

Customers can now resume various transactions, including wallet-to-bank transfers, bill payments for ZESCO and DSTV, and using all partner USSD short codes.

The company apologized for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for the patience and support of its valued customers.
