Author: Aayushya Ranjan

Kotani Pay has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first blockchain fintech in Africa to obtain a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa. This license, categorized under CAT I, authorizes Kotani Pay to provide intermediary services, facilitating seamless on-ramp and off-ramp transactions for digital assets across the continent.

Kotani Pay operates as a pivotal on-ramp/off-ramp infrastructure within the Web3 ecosystem, bridging local payment channels across Africa. Users can conveniently convert digital assets into local currencies and vice versa through Kotani Pay’s accessible payment channels, enhancing accessibility and liquidity within the blockchain economy.
