August 15, 2024

Author: Aayushya Ranjan

Access Holdings Plc has announced an extension of its ongoing Rights Issue, initially set to close on August 14, 2024. The new deadline is August 23, 2024, following approval from the Securities & Exchange Commission. This extension aims to accommodate shareholders affected by the recent nationwide protests in Nigeria, ensuring they have sufficient time to participate in the offer.

During the extended period, the company’s insiders will continue to adhere to the restrictions on dealing in the company’s shares, except for participating in the Rights Issue. These limitations will remain in place until 24 hours after the publication of the company’s Audited Interim Financial Statements for the period ending June 30, 2024.
