d.light Introduces First-Ever Loyalty Program in Off-Grid Solar Industry

d.light has introduced the d.light Points Program, the first-ever loyalty initiative in the off-grid solar sector. The program rewards customers for regular payments towards their solar products with points redeemable for discounts, free power days, and more. Already launched in Kenya, it will expand to Uganda, Tanzania, and Nigeria later this year.

Our customers have had a tough time lately. High inflation in many of the countries we operate in, along with job and income uncertainty in climate-impacted rural areas, have put pressure on households and communities. This includes being able to access and pay for energy at home.

We want to help our customers deal with these pressures and acknowledge their loyalty and support as well. The d.light Points Program lets our customers easily earn points and then redeem them for tailor-made rewards that add value and save them money. We are providing d.light customers with tangible, practical benefits which help them to more easily access reliable solar energy that improves their day-to-day lives.
