September 18, 2024
1 min read
Author: Joyce Onyeagoro

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has announced public hearings on the Draft End-user and Subscriber Service Charter Amendment Regulations, 2024. These hearings will allow stakeholders, media, and the public to engage with the proposed regulatory changes. The Draft Regulations, published on February 29, 2024, aim to refine consumer rights and service obligations within the telecommunications industry.

While oral presentations are reserved for parties who submitted written comments, the public is encouraged to participate by submitting questions or additional feedback. This initiative underscores ICASA’s commitment to transparency and public involvement in shaping telecommunications policy.
