In a significant move to enhance digital literacy in the Free State, the MTN SA Foundation has invested R1.3 million to establish a state-of-the-art multimedia centre at JS Moroka Secondary School in Thaba ‘Nchu. This initiative aims to empower 70 learners with essential technological skills crucial for success in today’s digital landscape.

The collaboration between MTN and the Free State Department of Education highlights the positive impact that partnerships between the public and private sectors can have on education. By providing students with access to modern technology and resources, this new facility will foster innovation and prepare them for future opportunities.

As the digital divide continues to pose challenges in education, the establishment of this multimedia centre marks a promising step towards creating an inclusive learning environment. The MTN SA Foundation remains committed to supporting educational initiatives that equip young people with the skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
