Multiple sources have confirmed that President William Ruto has announced plans to introduce taxes on Kenyan content creators benefiting from a monetization scheme launched earlier this year.

According to the reports the President emphasized the substantial income earned by some creators and stressed the need for fair taxation. He reportedly called for equitable tax policies to ensure that all sectors contribute to the country’s economy.
