Pelephone, a subsidiary of Bezeq The Israeli Telecommunications Corp., is spearheading Israel’s connectivity evolution by transitioning exclusively to 5G service packages in the coming days. The move aims to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge cellular technology across the country.

As a pioneer in 5G, Pelephone has consistently led the market since launching the technology in Israel. With over 80% of population centers now covered by its 5G network, the company is making significant strides in expanding access to next-generation connectivity.

“This strategic move is expected to encourage faster customer migration to 5G, allowing them to benefit from advanced broadband speeds and an optimal user experience,” said Ilan Sigal, CEO of Pelephone. “We are proud to continue leading the 5G revolution in Israel, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and accessibility.”

Pelephone’s rollout of an independent 5G core network, developed in collaboration with Ericsson, underscores its dedication to advancing Israel’s technological infrastructure. This initiative enhances network performance, delivering robust connectivity even in high-demand environments such as crowded events.

By focusing exclusively on 5G services, Pelephone is paving the way for a future defined by superior connectivity and technological progress.
