Nigeria’s internet data consumption surged past 1 million terabytes in January, reflecting increasing digital activity and broadband expansion across the country.

Nigeria’s internet data consumption reached 1,000,930.6 terabytes in January 2025, according to the latest statistics from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). This marks a steady increase from 973,455.35 terabytes recorded in December 2024 and 878,953.14 terabytes in November 2024.

The data highlights a continued rise in internet usage, with October 2024 figures standing at 870,398.28 terabytes. The surge reflects growing digital adoption, increased streaming, and expanding broadband penetration across the country.
