Egypt and Jordan Strengthen Ties in Space Technology Collaboration
Egypt’s Space Agency hosted Jordan’s Royal Geographic Center, discussing collaboration, showcasing advanced space technology, and strengthening regional cooperation in space exploration.

Professor Dr. Sharif Siddiqui, the Executive President of the Egyptian Space Agency , received today in his office Mr. Dean Engineer Muamar Hadadin, the General Director of the Royal Geographic Center of Jordan, and his delegation of companions, today, 27 March 2025, in the framework of researching ways of mutual cooperation between the two sides and promoting the exchange of experiences in areas of common interest.
During the meeting, Dr. Sharif Siddiqui reviewed the latest achievements of the Egyptian Space Agency in the field of space technology, referring to the pioneering projects the Agency is working on to support sustainable development plans, and at the end of the meeting, the Executive Chairman handed over the shield of the Egyptian Space agency to Mr. Moamar Hadadin in appreciation of the exceptional relationships Between the two Institutions.
Following that, Professor Dr. Sharif Siddqi accompanied the delegation on an inspection tour inside the Egyptian Space Agency, the Environmental Testing and Integration Laboratory included the Satellite Assembly, Testing and Integration Lab (AIT), the “Ground Station” the Satellite Control and Reception Station, where he followed the controls of the satellite “Egypt Sat 2”, and looked at the advanced technological possibilities. To the Moon, as well as the Space Academy, which features the latest space science training and qualification facility, including the Space Keys Educational Satellite Lab, also visited the main conference hall that will host the events of the New Space Africa 2025, which is a key platform for sharing experiences and promoting regional and international cooperation in the space sector. In addition to the Satellite Destination Control Lab, I look at the space environment simulator for satellite dynamics, used in the space rehabilitation of flight control and guidance systems, is the only one of its kind in Africa and the Middle East.
This visit comes in the framework of ensuring that the Egyptian Space Agency is consolidating its relations with regional and international institutions, strengthening cooperation with sister countries in the fields of space technology and remote sensing, serving common development goals and contributing to the development of specialized staff in this vital field
