As the company eyes a greener, more connected future, its push for sustainable, AI-driven ecosystems signals a deepening commitment to inclusive digital transformation.

Huawei’s  2024 Annual Report underscores its strategic pivot toward “All Intelligence,” as the global ICT giant posted revenues of CNY 862.1 billion, up 22.4% year-on-year. With net profits reaching CNY 62.6 billion, the company credited the surge to robust performance across its consumer, digital power, and intelligent automotive segments—particularly the latter, which saw a staggering 474% increase.

In 2024, the entire team at Huawei banded together to tackle a wide range of external challenges, while further improving product quality, operations quality, and operational efficiency. Our performance was in line with forecast. We’d like to thank our customers around the world for your ongoing trust. Our thanks also go to our suppliers, partners, and the developer community for working together with us, and to consumers for your affirmation and support. And of course, we want to thank the entire Huawei team for all your hard work, and your families and loved ones for their unwavering support.

– Meng Wanzhou, Rotating Chairwoman, Huawei

At the heart of Huawei’s growth is its aggressive investment in AI and digital infrastructure. The Kunpeng and Ascend ecosystems now host over 6.65 million developers, while HarmonyOS is installed on more than a billion devices. Notably, Huawei Cloud now spans 96 availability zones across 33 regions, supporting a global AI-native shift.

Africa remains a strategic region, as Huawei’s work in bridging the digital divide through cloud and 5G rollouts gains momentum. As the company eyes a greener, more connected future, its push for sustainable, AI-driven ecosystems signals a deepening commitment to inclusive digital transformation across emerging markets.
