Internet Society Opens Applications for Global Peering Fellowship Program
The fellowship will support 15 selected professionals from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific, equipping them with the tools to address interconnection and peering challenges.

The Internet Society has officially opened applications for its 2025 Peering Fellowship, a six-month program designed to empower Internet professionals with advanced technical skills and global networking opportunities. Applications are open until 2 May 2025.
The fellowship will support 15 selected professionals from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific, equipping them with the tools to address interconnection and peering challenges while promoting more affordable and resilient Internet access in their regions.
Fellows will also participate in major industry events including AfPIF, LACNOG, and Peering Asia, gaining hands-on exposure and connections within the global Internet community. By fostering talent and capacity-building, the initiative forms a key part of the Internet Society’s mission to expand reliable Internet access across underserved markets.
